Important Note:  NWOCA will be using the "Train-the-trainer" approach to training in that we will train a core team of trainers that will then train the remaining staff in your district.  This was important in phase II, and will be even more critical to the success of phase III as more districts are implemented.  NWOCA's staff is limited (8 for entire NWOCA consortium that support EMIS/SIS/eSIS for all of NWOCA's districts), so we are not able to train all staff in all districts while adequately maintaining support levels for districts.

The way we have seen this work best is if a district can identify one or two individuals as the core contacts/trainers who will attend nearly every training.  These individuals will also coordinate any trainings in your district.  Secondly, when pertanent these core trainers/contacts will bring along one or two staff members to trainings relevant to their position.

Example (Admission/Withdraw training):

- Core trainer/contact - Maybe your EMIS Coordinator or Tech. Coordinator

- Additional Attendee - one or two strong secretaries or admissions clerks that     handle that function in the district.

- Post-training - Core contact + additional attendee (Admission clerk) setup and run trainings within district to train additional staff needing to learn this functionality in eSIS.
