This rack represents NWOCA's member districts fiber connection to the NWOCA west offices. Each of NWOCA's district have at least one building connected to NWOCA via fiber. These connections are at 1 Gb speeds, and many have a parallel ATM fiber connection for video conferences at T1 speeds. |

| This rack contains NWOCA's streaming servers. Most of the United Streaming video clips are stored on the Storage Area Network (SAN) connected to a HP EVA3000 Raid controller with over 2 terabytes of storage. These servers also house district web pages and NWOCA/SSDT generated video clips. |

This is NWOCA4. NWOCA4 is an HP Alphaserver ES45 running Open VMS. It has four of
the latest generation Alpha 64 bit processors. It also has 24 Gb of
memory. Data is stored on a Storage Area Network (SAN) and is
connected via fiber to an EMA8000 Raid controller with over 1.5
terabytes. This server provides the accounting a payroll software used by most NWOCA member districts. It also is the main repository for student information. Additionally most NWOCA email mailboxes are housed on this server. This machine also provides web based fiscal and student information. |
| This rack houses various servers that provide applications that school personnel use in the NWOCA service area. Included in this rack are servers that provide the DSL software, IEP software, INFOhio card catalog software, and other computer assisted learning software. |

This is NWOCA's backup generator. It will keep NWOCA's computer room and network up and available during prolonged power outages. NWOCA also employs a UPS for brief power outages. This results in high availability, and reliable network. |
