The overall goal of the NWOCA Academy is to simply have you use available technology tools to improve learning. One of the main advantages to using technology is the way in which it approaches several intelligences and learning styles. At the end of four days, you will leave with a spectrum of web-based resources as well as CD based materials that you can use to help your students learn. It is our expectation that you will be able to find film clips, edit them, import them into a presentation , and utilize appropriate web resources -- all while developing an interactive lesson plan matched to State of Ohio Standards that you can use in your classroom. We encourage you to practice, ask questions, and have fun!
