Once you are in PowerPoint, go under your “format” menu and choose “slide design.”

Then, the computer will allow you to choose what kind of template you would like to use. When you find the one you want, click on the drop down menu and choose “apply to all slides.”

Saving Your PowerPoint to a Folder

After you have started creating your PowerPoint, and are ready to save it, it is important that you know where you are saving it. It is always good to create a folder that will store your PowerPoint Presentation and any videos, sounds, or pictures that you use within it.

To do this, when you are ready to save, go under the “file” menu and choose “save as.” The computer will ask you where you would like to save it. To save it in a folder on your desktop, make sure you are within the “desktop” when you create your folder. Create your folder, name it, and then store all of the components of the Presentation in it.
